In the petroleum and natural gas industry, it is used to remove hydrogen sulfide from crude oil and natural gas, thereby improving product quality and protecting equipment from corrosion. During chemical manufacturing, EDDM serves as a preservative and desulfurizer, preventing microbial contamination and stabilizing reaction systems. Additionally, EDDM is widely applied in coatings, adhesives, leather, and textile processing for antimicrobial and anti-mildew purposes, effectively extending product shelf life.
